Adoption Process

Ready to adopt a puppy? Let's get started! Simply fill out our puppy application to begin your adoption journey. Once we've reviewed your application we'll arrange a phone interview to ensure one of our sweet puppies is a perfect fit for you! We will answer any questions you may have and discuss puppy preferences and current or upcoming litters.

At this time, you will be able to put a deposit down to hold a spot on our

reservation list. The deposit to hold a puppy is $350 and will be applied to the purchase of your puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but are always transferable
to another puppy if you are not ready when your spot on the list comes up. If for whatever reason we're unable to meet your puppy needs, we will refund your deposit. We're here to help you find the pup of your dreams!

How It Works

Picking Out Your Sweet Puppy

We start the process of picking out your puppy around 5-6 weeks of age. We start to see their sweet personalities coming to life at this point so you will be able to tell which puppy would be the perfect fit for your family. We start at the top of our reservation list and puppies are picked out in that order. We offer FaceTime/Zoom for live interactions or a video to help you choose which one is right for you. As well, we post photos and videos to let you see them interacting with their litter mates and to help you get to know their fun-loving personalities better.

Bringing Your Puppy Home

At 10 weeks we feel our puppies are ready to go to their forever homes to join you! To help you get acquainted with your puppy before they are home to stay, we take videos and photos to keep you updated so you get the joy of watching your puppy grow along with us! After you pick out your adorable puppy you can choose how to bring your puppy home to you!

Our options are: *Pick up your puppy directly from our home. Puppies picked up from our home are required to be charged 6.875% Minnesota sales tax. We understand this is not always possible or convenient for you. *Driving and meeting you within 75 miles of our location to unite you with your puppy. If in Minnesota, we are required to charge Minnesota sales tax of 6.875%.*We will meet you at the MSP airport for $300.*Nanny Service – Approximately $1400

Payment Information

We will take PayPal with a 3% charge for deposits and for remaining balance payment. The remaining balance on your beautiful puppy is due when your puppy is 8 weeks old. Minnesota law requires that 6.875% sales tax be charged for all Minnesota sales and puppy pick-ups in Minnesota.

Puppy Contract & Health Guarantee

Here at Page Lake Puppies all the puppies up for adoption come with a purchase agreement. We do all that we can to ensure our precious puppies are happy and healthy and that they go to a loving home. Our contract will emphasize two main things:

All puppies are sold with a spay/neuter agreement.
You are able to care for your new furry friend.

We reserve the right to refund a deposit or refuse a reservation of a puppy if we feel it is necessary. It is of utmost importance to us that our beautiful puppies only go to good, loving homes where they are treated with kindness and respect. At Page Lake Puppies we do our best to raise healthy puppies! Regardless, our puppies come with a one-year health guarantee.
